Dr Francois Steenkamp MBChB MMed
Commenced study at the University of Pretoria in 1982 and received the MBChB in 1987 with distinctions in Internal Medicine and Surgery. He completed his internship at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town and further medical officer training at the Military Hospital in Wynberg.

He was a registrar in Internal Medicine at the University of Stellenbosch in between 1990 to 1994 when he acquired the MMed in Internal Medicine. He subsequently started a private practice in Gaborone, Botswana in and practised there until 2003 when he returned to join the physician team at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Pretoria.

His interests in internal medicine include Management of HIV related illness, Hypertension, heart failure and related sleep disorders and cardiac illness.
